What a talent to be able to fit a sweet pun in to the title today!

Today I am a walking LOFT catalog. Last week I stumbled across a sweet sale at LOFT.com. They were offering an extra 50% off of clearance items.  I ordered a bunch of awesome stuff.  Much of it was between $2 and $10. I love a fantastic deal. An amazing price makes lovely clothes so much sweeter.

I guess Monday's post got me thinking about this belt, so BAM here it is! And it really is the star of this outfit. It is intended to be worn at more of  a "natural waist", but this belt height made more sense with these pants. I think it worked out alright.

The drizzley weather seems to suit me, right?!?

I had a great time wearing this ensemble, although the fit is a little off. I love the color combination despite the fact that it was a bit of a high maintenance outfit. The main problem was the silky fabric of the shirt made it difficult to keep the sweater and shirt cooperating together.

I love this sweater. I got it for $5 when I walked into H&M looking for this red belt. This color of orange is really unique and beautiful. I have been dying to wear these boots, so I was excited to have the chance with this outfit!

Man! I love this dress! I can put pretty much any accessories with it. It does have a few downfalls though. It's satiny fabric is thin which can be chilly, and it collects static -- lots of static. But who cares, right? It looks great with my fab new Guccis (that I got on sale).

It is frustrating to me to me that when I plan an outfit the night before, I put it on in the morning and it does not work at all. Yet this outfit happened by accident, and I am really quite pleased with it.

Let's take a moment to discuss this pink belt. It used to belong to my mother. I have no idea exactly how old it is, but it has been in my possession for many years now. In the past I just wasn't sure how or when to wear it. As I take pictures and write this blog, I am learning more and more about where I can and cannot push my own limits.

I realize that this color combination is pretty "springy", but it is technically still "summer" so you can just shush!

Today my blog looks like one of those Flonase commercials. A word of warning... this is what happens when a setting gets changed on your lens and you don't know it. Then you are at work until 8 or 9pm and it is too dark to take pictures when you get home. Whoops!

As my sister says, my life is totally nuts this week. As an example, there is a couch in my kitchen! On the brightside, I'm starting to like it there. Its like a kitchen island, but you lay on it instead of chopping things on it. I'm Brilliant!

This outfit happened by accident, and I really love it. I felt good wearing it and it made me feel lovely and fancy! What more could you ask of an outfit? Lots of things in our house are in disarray right now, so it is nice to have something so simple go so right.

If I had some fun colored (flat)boots, this would have been a good chance to use them. On the other hand, I really like the way all the grey makes these jeans look fantastic and makes the scarf stand out a lot! I'm not used to this cooler weather yet, but I'm sure I'll get back in to the swing of fall in no time. Camping this weekend will help! Man! I love camping!

I adore the shapes in the print of this dress. I also love the way this belt mimics those shapes. It is like I did it on purpose or something! I almost wore this royal blue sweater instead, but changed my mind last minute. I'm pleased with the way the necklace and sweater play well together.

I actually hated this outfit when I left in the morning, but I was running late. It grew on me over the course of the day. Does that ever happen to anyone else?

This is a pretty special scarf. My brother and his wife brought it back for me as a souvenir of their trip to Paris/Europe. While in Paris, my big brother proposed to his (now) wife in a beautiful garden on Bastille day. 

I have been afraid to wear it for fear of committing some kind of fashion faux pas. I mean it is from Paris! I'm not sure I'm in love with the way I've worn it here, but now the flood gates have opened! Look out!

What do you think of this color combination? One minute I don't like it and the next it is growing on me. Oh silly indecisive me!

I enjoyed wearing this outfit. I am still not feeling up to par yet, so it was perfect if I needed to curl up into a ball and be sick for a few minutes. Plus, it was a really nice day. Likely on of the last truly warm days we'll have for a while.

You can almost see the sparkly pinstripes in these pants if you look closely at the shoe shot. That is what I like about these pants, they are more interesting than your average bear pant. Also, I don't know what it is about these pants that makes me want to wear these shoes with them (also wore these shoes with these pants here and here). But they are such awesome shoes that I don't really need an excuse to wear them.

Unfortunately, I woke up this morning with the sickness! I had a completely different outfit planned, but had to change it because I wanted something extra comfortable. This morning I was holding out hope that I just had some wacky allergies, but I've unofficially diagnosed myself with a cold! So lame when the weather is so lovely!

Have no fear! My hubby has retrieved "the good tissues" for my noes and OJ for my immune system!  We're going to kick some virus BUTT!

Flannel.... what a great idea!  I loved flannel when I was young, and I think I might love it again. It was a bit chilly again, so this flannel shirt looks put together, but feels snugly! It was a fall Friday in Indianapolis, so that means it is Blue Friday. That's where my lovely colts earrings came in handy. As for the actual Colts game... We'll do better next time!

This outfit is pretty much over the top fall for me. Plus, I have a scarf addiction, and this scarf is definitely one of my favorites. I know, I know... All anyone is talking about right now is fall because it has been so cold and dreary the last couple days.  I could not resist the opportunity to put on some of my lovely boots.

I'm so pleased that I thought to add the skinny belt because I think it somehow makes the whole outfit more complex... which is apparently (according to me) a good thing. Also you can see here the sweet new scarf tying abilities I learned from Pinterest -- another addiction! It would seem from this post that I have a lot of addictions, but don't believe everything you read on the internet!
