Workin' army green

Top: Gift
Jacket: Kohl's
Jeggings: Kohl's
Shoes: Sperry's

It is getting more and more challenging to get dressed, but this outfit actually came together well. I am sort of getting into this army green and what a great neutral it can be!

When dressing the bump gets tough, what would you do?

Workin' neutrals with green

Top: J. Crew
Blazer: H&M
Skirt: Forever21
Shoes: Jessica Simpson

This outfit actually worked out really well! I love the way the green plays off of the tan and black plus the addition of a little shine with the necklace and shoes - this outfit has just the right amount of interest.

Workin' pink and purple

Dress: Target
Cardi: Francesca's
Scarf: Target
Shoes: Nine West

Maybe if I wear this non-maternity, perfect for my bump dress everyday with different accessories, no one will notice. Think that will work?

The flowers on the scarf feels like spring while the greyed-out purple cardi feels a little more like fall. Ahh, why not blend the two. I make the rules anyway!

Workin' "pants"

Tank: Target
Blazer: H&M
Pants/Leggings: TJ Maxx
Shoes: Nine West
Scarf: gift

This outfit is brought to you by one stressed out (soon-to-be) mama. We have about 600 things we need to get done, and pretty much all of them need to get done NOW! For that reason, I woke up ready to wear pants instead of a dress/skirt. The pants that fit me best with this 34 week bump are better described as leggings. That's a complicated thing when it comes to wearing them in a professional office, but I feel like there is a way it can be done that might work. Paring them with the perfect classic blazer and some great accessories takes the whole outfit up a notch. Hopefully a big enough notch to be considered close to "business casual".

Sorry if I'm babbling. I blame parasite that's eating my brain.

Workin' a shapeless dress

Dress: Francesca's
Blazer: H&M
Booties: GUESS (via DSW)
Belt: LOFT

A shapeless dress can be a great asset for a baby bump, but you have to find a way to create some shape. I'm doing that here with the belt, which also adds a little mix of prints, and with this fabulous blazer.

In case anyone is following along, baby is due in a little over 6 weeks, and the hardwood floors are almost done in the house (yay!). Nursery here we come.

Workin' pink and blue

Tank: Target
Blazer: H&M
Jeans: TJ Maxx
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack
Necklace: ??

For some reason this outfit reminded me of the gender reveal party we had back 12 weeks ago! Pink or Blue? Today I wore them together, and they compliment each other nicely!

Workin' a pineapple situation

Sweater: J. Crew
Skirt: Target
Necklace: Carson's
Boots: Amazon.com

Who doesn't need a pineapple sweater? It must be the navy color that somehow makes this pineapple printed sweater feel like a very classic piece. I was a little amazed to find that it still covered my growing bumps - lucky me, it does!

Workin something borrowed

Shirt: borrowed (my Sister's)
Pants/Leggings: TJ Maxx
Blazer: gift
Scarf: Amazon.com
Shoes: DSW

This is an actual maternity shirt, BUT it doesnt belong to me! My sister gave me a small pile of her maternity gear to wear during the last few months of my pregnancy. I'm sure they'll come in handy, just like this top did. In the mean time, I managed to write ON the shirt with my pen. Fingers crossed that it comes out!

Workin' asymmetry

Top: gift
Skirt: Express
Boots: Guess (via gift)
Necklace: Carson's

This is not my best attempt, but I wanted to give this funky shirt a shot. I may have to save this one for post baby wear. It is good to know that asymmetrical tops and baby bumps are not an ideal pair.

Workin' hippy shoes

Top: Target
Jeggings: Kohl's
Blazer: Kohl's
Shoes: DSW
Scarf: NY& Co

I lovingly refer to these shoes as my "hippy shoes". I'm not sure why. I think these shoes might actually be cooler than I am, but every now and then I try to wear them anyway.
