Jeggings: American Eagle
Belt: came with a skirt
Happy "casual Friday"! A drapey shirt like this has been really great for breastfeeding/pumping at work. The neon belt brings the outfit to life for me. Otherwise it would be a little too flat.

Leggings: TJ Maxx
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
I don't typically recommend leggings for a professional setting. My rule of thumb was that as long as my butt is covered then it is okay. On this particular day, I decided I was going for it. I like these leggings a lot, and I really enjoy this outfit even though it is technically not allowed!

Shoes: Nine West
As you can see, I"m a bit behind in posting my outfits! I swear I'm taking the pictures. I'm just having trouble getting them posted to the bloggy blog! On this particular day, we got one more round of snow in the month of March, so I had to layer up to stay warm.

I'm trying to figure out if my style has changed because I'm a Mom or if it is just a typical evolution of style. My styles tends to change from year to year, but lately I've been doing some simple basics. It is the easy equation right? Jeans + nursing friendly tshirt + Blazers.

Shoes: Chinese Laundry
This shirt is a little wacky, but that's probably why I like it. Sometimes I just take a black skirt and black blazer and put it with a wacky shirt.

I know you cant see my shoes, but they are these leopard sandals. No, I couldn't make it though Easter without a little bit of leopard print.
One more time breastfeeding this kiddo makes life more interesting. Normally I choose an "Easter Dress" to wear on Easter, but there are few dresses that allow access for nursing. It isn't actually that important either way, but it has always been something that was fun for me.
So once I accepted the premise of wearing a skirt and blouse instead, I decided I liked the idea of wearing a tool skirt (like this one), but I didn't want to spend that much. I took that as inspiration and picked out this skirt out of my closet instead (sorry I don't remember where it came from!). It has a pretty texture and works nicely with the pretty teal color. I'm pretty happy with the way it worked out. And that's more $$ in my pocket!
Austin had a great Easter, and he looks stinkin' adorable!

Sweater: TJ Maxx
My desk has moved within the office, and now it seems I am cold 100% of the time. I've been wearing my coat at my desk for much of the day. This prompts me to wear sweaters on days that are otherwise perfectly wonderful in temperature. Does anyone else freeze in their office?

Dress: Banana Republic (via gift)
It always cracks me up when I sit down and realize an outfit I put together is 100% gifts from family. These people know me well! I adore the flutter and the shimmer in this dress. My hubs got it for me for Xmas, so I would have something fabulous I could wear while breastfeeding!

Sorry for being a bit inconsistent lately. As usual, I'm just going to blame it on my baby boy! I'm working on getting in a good groove, but my rolling/not sleeping/smiley baby boy likes to throw a wrench in these things. He's cool like that.
So back to this outfit... whomever decided colorful pants are cool is good in my book. These fucshia pants are really fun to work with. I read a silly article the other day with a list of things you're not "supposed to" wear over the age of 30. I didn't see "brightly colored pants" on the list, so I must be okay!

This is my favorite outfit I've come up with in a while! I adore this shirt, and sometimes I just dont give it the love it deserves. Dear Beauty-full shirt, I love you!
