Workin' with army green

Top: gift
Jacket: gift
Pants: Express (via TJ Maxx)
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Necklace: gift

I love the way the white really sets off the green. Sticking to a clean neutral white gives the focus to the army green jacket. I've discovered the use of basics and neutrals to support your wonderful statement pieces, and it is wonderful.

Workin' the circle skirt and cardi

Cardi: TJ Maxx
Skirt: Kohl's
Shoes: Nine West

It seems that a circle skirt and cardigan will be best friends forever. It almost doesn't matter what the color or prints are, these two pieces are together forever. Added bonus - - super comfortable skirt AND cardi perfect for pumping at work.

Almost 10 months in and I'm still pumping at work and exclusively breastfeeding my little Austin. It has been a tough journey, but a rewarding one for sure. What challenges have you faced going back to work after baby?

Baby Fashion: Austin Mixes

Onesie: gift from Grandma
Shorts: hand-me-down from my cousin

Today Austin looks super cute, so he's going to fill in for me (since I've been a slacker).

This is his outfit post.

He's 9.5 months old and already such a charmer! He is rocking an awesome mix of prints combining plaid and sharks is always a winning combination.

HOWEVER -- I don't advise wearing this to the office.

Workin' a mixture

Shirt: LOFT
Blazer: H&M
Skirt: Target
Shoes: Bakers Shoes

This is a fun mixture of prints. I remember really being afraid to try print mixing in a professional environment, and now I do it all the time without thinking twice! My how I've grown!

Workin' nautical animal

Top: gift
Blazer: H&M
Pants: LOFT
Shoes: Nine West
Scarf: gift

This jacket screams nautical feelings, but adding the leopard print with it might make me a little crazy. I'm getting better at dressing for pumping at work, but it is really limiting my choices. I have a feeling I'll have a whole new world of clothes I can wear when AG in done breastfeeding. That will be a bitter sweet day!

Workin' one of the best

Blouse: Target
Skirt: Forever21
Shoes: gift

This skirt is such a wonderful piece to have in my closet, and this outfit is one of my favs. Each piece brings its own texture and/or print, and they all play so nicely together!

Workin' pink pants

Top: gift
Pants: LOFT
Blazer: H&M
Scarf: gift
Shoes: Nine West

Sorry for my lack of consistency with posting lately. Taking time to hang out with my 9mo old boy every evening doesnt always leave time for fashion blogging. Fret not! I've been taking my pictures. I just haven't been getting them posted! I'm trying to do better. Stay tuned.

Who doesn't like pink pants??  Yes. I know they are more "coral" than pink, but work with me. Coral/pink and navy blue are two colors that really love each other. In fact, if Austin had been a girl, we may have put some of that combination in the nursery.

Workin' red with neon

Blouse: H&M
Pants: H&M
Belt: came with a skirt
Shoes: Nine West

Did neons stop being cool? I hope not because I'm still riding that train. Maybe this is the point where I become the mom and can't keep up with current trends anymore! It could happen!

This is fantastic for the office because it is so versatile and comfortable, but also because it is classic with a neon twist!

Workin' stripes forever

Tshirt: LOFT
Jeans: American Eagle
Blazer: H&M
Shoes: Sperry's

These stripes could last me a lifetime! Since they go with virtually anything, I just throw them on anytime and it works beautifully!

As a side not: there are some shoes that are wonderful and feel like slippers. These Sperry's are those shoes.

Workin' the greens

Sweater: TJ Maxx
Pants: H&M
Shoes: BGCG
Necklace: Charming Charlie's

This cardigan is great for nursing/pumping. My goal is to nurse/breastfeed baby Austin for 1 year. Hopefully, I don't wear out the cardigan in that time! I adore this necklace. My strategy for wearing it without Austin eating it is to put it on AFTER I leave the house and take it off when I get home. Accessorizing with babies is tough stuff!
