This may come as a shock, but I'm a shoe lover. The best thing about this outfit is that it is sleek and stylish yet it allows the focus to go to the shoes. The white and taupe are non-offensive neutrals and they help the bright red shoes to be the star.

I've also struggled to find ways of wearing this lace vest and this is by far one of my faves. It doesn't have much contrast against the white shirt, so it mostly just adds texture and complexity to the look. Oh so much fun! You know you're crazy when you're idea of fun is finding great ways to style a lace vest.
