Workin' stripes and army green

There is something about the combination of stripes and army green that I just can't resist.

I heard someone ask: "Why do all pregnant girls wear stripes?".  Do you find this to be true? I hypothesize that perhaps she just THINKS that because maternity clothes follow current trends and stripes are pretty popular right now. Therefore her observation is merely circumstantial.
