Summer-ish casual Friday idea here in the middle of January, but I think the principles still stand. 1) army green and black, 2) just wear leopard print shoes daily and everything will be awesome.

It is sad that we lost our playoff game over the weekend, but I really like what I put together for the Friday before. Or as Indianapolis-ites like to refer to it -- "Blue Friday". Austin also got to wear his colts blue on Friday! Don't worry, we'll have better "Luck" next year. #punintended
I like the way the blazer makes this outfit more interesting. Without it, I'm just wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
This is an okay attempt to make casual friday work. I think there is probably a better way to dress the bump, but this was a comfortable outfit, so from that perspective it is a success! I think a blazer might have made this outfit more complete, so I'll be trying that next time.
This green and teal are so wonderful together! I haven't been able to wear anything but boots on Casual Friday in a while. My feet get cold easily, so if it is cold, I need socks and warm footwear.

This was a casual Friday outfit for yet another cold day. This is the prefect vest for this weather because it is down-filled and therefor insanely warm! I feel like everyone has a "go-to" most warm thing they reach for on a cold cold day. This is mine.
Almost everything about this outfit reminds me of Munich. I bought these boots on clearance right before leaving for Europe, and it was a great last minute choice. It ended up being cold and rainy most of the time we were in Munich, and these boots helped keep my toes warm while exploring the beautiful amazing city. Do you have shoes with specific memories attached to them?
As it turns out, every time "casual Friday" rolls around I reach for these zebra stripey Sperry's. What you can't see in the photo is that these shoes have the softest snuggliest fabric on the inside. Honestly, it is like I'm wearing slippers to work. I'm such a maverick!
Black jeans were pretty much all I could think about when I was planning my packing for our trip to Europe this spring. They are so incredibly versatile, and I am so glad that I had them.
