These birdies make me so happy, and these colors are oddly springy. I get that it's weird to wear springy colors while standing in the snow, but what can I say? - I'm weird!

All I have to talk about is how bone chilling it was this morning. With windchill of -13 degrees, I was wishing for a two hour delay of my own!

On the bright side  these pants are lined and wool and super warm. The best way I can describe them to you is they are like snow pants! Nothing gets through these babies!  Good luck out there with your inferior pants!

Both this blazer and these pants are lint magnets. I didn't realize how bad they are until I had them together. Yeesh!

While driving to work, it randomly occurred to me that the most expensive thing in this outfit is these $40 shoes. The top was a steal from the Kohl's clearance rack for about $2.70. Plus I snagged these pants for $5 in a find "skinny" dress pant's frenzy I went on a week or so ago. With the cost of the blazer all the cloths are about $28! Clearance makes me so happy!

I'm usually a bright color/pop of color advocate, but today these muted tones were speaking to me. Every fall I have to resist the urg to wear purple and orange every single day. Something about the combination makes may fall-lovin' heart skip a beat!

While I personally find the time change annoying, I'm glad we've "fallen back" so I can more easily take my morning photos. I apologize for the egregious amount of lens flare. I'll work on better using the newfound sunlight tomorrow. Did you enjoy your extra hour of sleeps?

Okay... With or without the scarf? I couldn't pick, so I decide I would ask the all knowing blog-universe. I think subconsciously Kendi's outfit from yesterday made me pull out my pleats and pair them with a stripe.

Silly subconscious! Wasn't neon only a summer thing? Oh well. I don't believe in rules anyway!

The day after our long annual event is a slow more relaxed day. We tend to sleep in and make our way into the office a bit more slowly than normal. This skirt turned out to be perfect option for today. It was comfortable like skirt pajamas for a relaxed day. What a great use of $7.80!

I feel like I'm always saving this shirt for a fall day. I really only wear it a time or two a year, but for whatever reason I always hold on to it. Maybe I should challenge myself to find some new ways to wear it. I might fall back in love with it. What do you think?

I think the stripes in this jacket are cameleon-ish. I don't think it matters what dark shade I put with it looks like it goes prefectly. Off the top of my head, I'm think  it would go great with the Slate (shown), black and even navy. I'll have to try this jacket with some of these colors. In other news, I really like the pattern mix.

Brightly colored skirts make me happy. It was a very dreary day in Indiana, but I like to believe that my brightly colored skirt brightened everyone eles's day too! I think the grey blouse and harringbone pumps do a nice job grounding the bright blue to make it work great for this chilly fall weather.

I know birds are super cool right now, but I am totally jumping on the band wagon. I love bird prints. I found this dress at Target for $12! Sometimes, that Target clearance rack is just the bestest thing ever!

I love the idea of dressing up a Tshirt. Something about the juxtaposition of the fancy with the "not fancy" makes my creative juices boil! I went with the matchy necklace because it seemed fun. Also, I love anytime I can use the word juxtaposition. Get on board people!
