I'm not sure why I remember so distinctly the day I got this top. It was a long long time ago. My shopping buddy sister and I were trolling the clearance rack at Macy's we came across these nice basic turtle necks for $3! We bough every color we could find in our size. (in my case that meant black, grey and this burgundy)

The skirt I found just yesterday on a target clearance rack. I need to get my tailor mom to help me put some darts in it, so it will stay up and fit right! Stacy and Clinton stay that a big part of having style is having the right fit.

So today I get an A+ for clearance rack trolling and a C- for fit!

This outfit had to do double duty. Today was another one of those triple digit days and we had an important client to meet with. The delema is how can I dress to stay cool when we are outside & still look professional. My answer to that question was this blue blazer. This dotty dress is usually just a great summer staple, but now it is doing double duty.

If you're a HIMYM fan, you'll understand my "re-return" reference. I've done almost this outfit before, but I couldn't resist the urg to try it again with this new skirt. I might like this version better! Bazinga! That's a Big Bang Theory reference. Oh dear, I'm sharing all my TV habits! I hope you still love me in spite of my nerd status!
