I typically avoid things with butterflies on them, but for some reason this dress is the exception to my butterfly rules!  I have found it to be surprisingly versatile (I wore it differently here).

When I pulled up the photos I noticed all the neat textures in the outfit. Between the flowers on the cardi and the "quilted" pumps; I am texture-licious! I felt pretty good in this outfit, and since that is the most important part of getting dressed -- it must be a pretty good ensemble!

It would be cool if all the flutter-bys on my dress started flapping their little wings and could fly me around like Peter Pan. That would be sweet - someone should work on that.

I'm digging the lens flare in these photos.  Its very artsy - fartsy! (that's a technical term)

It is very clear how well my mom knows me because she picked these shoes out and gifted them to me for Christmas. I adore the colors and the print, and they are GUESS which fit my feet very very well for some happy reason. Thanks Mom, for bringing awesome-ness to my grey and black outfits!

I don't think I like the fit of this outfit - although, I do love the color combination. My puppy, Baylee, likes to help me take my pictures in the morning. It is one of her favorite things to do. I have been working a lot lately, so I have to take every extra moment I can get with her!

I'm not very pleased with the pilly-ness and droopy-ness of this shirt, but I love the vibrant blue. I might have to get rid of this shirt and find a new vibrant blue shirt to help with the grieving.

If I added some blue to this, I could be a decoration in an elementary school class room.

I really love this dress. It is light weight, has a cool print and it has ruffles. All of these things I like! It is fun playing with adding different colors with the dress because it can handle just about anything I throw at it. On the other hand, you will probably hear complaints from me in the winter that this dress is full of static and sticks to me!

Hand-me-downs are fun. Sometimes I "go shopping" in my sister's closet to borrow something when I feel like I need to mix things up, but don't want to spend money. This skirt was actually willed to me when she was purging her closet.

This outfit happened by accident, but I really like the whimsey.  I really wanted a (nice-ish) white T-shirt to go with this (apparently I don't own one!?! WHAT!), but I think the pastel yellow pulls it off. I feel totally put together despite my use of many colors and prints. I have learned so much since starting this blog. Thanks to everyone that has given me advise and input. I am having so much fun!

I have been a bit under the weather lately.  I'm still blaming allergies and hoping I don't actually have the black plague or a plague of any other color. While I have been sticking it out going to work (too much to get done!), I have not felt very good in my clothes. To be honest, if I could get away with it, I probably would have worn pajamas to work.

I like the way this fun shirt with metalic-y-ness goes with these pants. These are likely my most favoritest dress pants because they are pretty interesting to look at. See! I'm so ill I can't conjugate!

I was trying to be super comfy and professional at the same time today. I think the sequins and the necklace take an otherwise boring outfit to a happy place. I've also discovered one of my new favorite color combinations - Fuscia and Orange.

I love the way the intense sequins make my shoulders look broad and strong even though I am a sloucher. Slouchers UNITE!

I either look like a stewardess or this is some kind of abstract commentary on clowns.  Either way, I like the bright happiness of the outfit.

Everyone, meet the only pair of wedges that I own. I know you cringed when you saw that they are Naturalizers, but I think they are adorable. They make me feel like I should go sailing - or become a pirate. Arrrrrrr!

Saturday was my Husband's Birthday, so Friday after work he wanted to go to Bub's Burgers (featured on the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food) a famous local burger place, and he wanted to go see Cowboys and Aliens. I'm pretty sure he has a giant man/nerd crush on Harrison Ford - just sayin'.

So this is the outfit I chose. It worked out well for work plus it kept me cool when we were outside and I stayed warm in the frigid movie theater. And, anytime I get to wear these adorable Juicy Coutures - the world is a better place.
