I feel guilty for not wearing this beautiful blazer more often. It is so unique. It probably gets lonely when I don't wear it! Poor sad blazer!

The snow is melting!! Winter isn't over, but since I'm brave, I decided to go sans tights today. Something about wearing bright colors, really made my day today. I love bright colors especially deep in the darkness of winter. How do you brighten the dark winter days?

I work with some fun sylish women. Yesterday one of them had this outfit that was all "khaki" with the pants and a sweater. I took that from her playbook, but I took it another step forward by making it look a little more safari-ish and adding the neon just for kicks!

Yep "safari-ish" is a word AND neon is for kicks! Boom!

I know fall is a all about darker more muted colors, but would I really be me if I didn't still use my fun brights? It sort of reminds me of the bright amazing colors we saw this weekend camping in Southern Indiana. I highly recommend it!

Brightly colored skirts make me happy. It was a very dreary day in Indiana, but I like to believe that my brightly colored skirt brightened everyone eles's day too! I think the grey blouse and harringbone pumps do a nice job grounding the bright blue to make it work great for this chilly fall weather.

This top is another lovely find from the Target clearance rack. I like adding some neon to my wardrobe without over investing. I love the neon trend, but we all know it won't last forever, so not spending too much on it is important to me. It's important to be conscious about where you want to put your money! Look at me telling you what to do - like a boss!

In case you were curious... work is crazy again! This time of year is always a bit of a race. Every now and then it starts to feel like you're on one of those hamster wheels. You run and run and don't actually ever get ahead! Pretty soon I'm going to get myself on of those hamster balls and start going places!

P.S. I once had a hamster named "hammy". Yep.

Now that my hubby has a sweet new job, we also have a sweet new schedule. That means no more photographer to me. In the mean time, I've managed to lose my remote for taking morning photos. That's a bonus for you because that means this new week brings new blurry pictures! Just trying to keep you on your toes. Ain't life exciting?

Today, Hubby and I were blindsided by life, and this is what I was wearing! Every now and then a good outfit can keep a bad day from being a total bust. I love the way the leopard shoes play against the extra lengthy tealy pencil skirt. Somehow leopard print seems unimportant today. Don't worry - leopard print will be important again tomorrow!

I was trying to come up with something smart and witty to say about orange, but all I could think of is people that are supposedly name "Orangejello". Does anyone know someone with this name? I hope so!

I had fun wearing this outfit! It was comfortable, and I definitely felt "put together".

Today I'm chillin'. You might even say I'm chillin' like a villan. I am so deeply in love with this top that any time I throw it on, I feel like I've really got a great look going. The bright colors and the happy print are so me.

I'm really not very helpful with my labels today, but sometimes it happens that way. I love the way these blues play off of each other! Who knew "being blue" could be so great!

Yes! you did see this necklace yesterday, and yes, it is probably my new favorite.  I wore this outfit on Friday at work and on our drive off to our anniversary trip.

We are planning to visit a different state every year for a our anniversary this way we will visit 50 states over 50 years of marriage! I'm excited about all the adventures we'll have. So far we have completed Tennessee (year 1) and Kentucky (year 2). This year we went off to visit Southern Illinois. If you follow my twitter you might have seen some of the sights already, but if not, watch for a post all about it later this week (or the weekend).

Meet some of my new clothes! As you know, I've had this blazer for a minute, but this great striped tank and this incredible skirt are new additions. When my shopping buddy/sister and I took our wonderful shopping trip we found some incredible success at Banana Republic clearance rack.
